- Intensive 2007-2008 Performing Company Competition Team Auditions
- Company Auditions are held directly after recital performances & prior to
- Summer Dance session. It is a three- day event. On the first & second day
- instructors teach dancers a 32- count combination (tap, lyrical, hip-hip &
- jazz) at designated group times. Students may audition any combination of
- the elements. Judges are provided on the third day and dancers are scored on
- technique, knowledge of material, presentation, potential, etc. Scores are
- tallied and if dancer falls within the scale of the level in which they are
- auditioning for then they are welcomed into that particular company level.
- If dancer scores higher and there is another level available the dancer will
- be put in the higher company level. Dancer’s numbers posts results on front
- door of studio on a determined day & time. Studio directors & instructors
- reserve the right to hold private auditions for dancers in case of
- emergency. All current company dancers must re-audition each year to remain
- on team. Summer classes are mandatory.

- company dancer. It is MANDATORY FOR COMPANY DANCERS to attend both summer
- sessions. Company Acro is now divided into levels. (Beginner, intermediate &
- advanced). (Note: acro classes are not labeled COMPANY because through out
- the summer recreational students will be allowed to take class with you).
- Each summer we anticipate changes in the recreational schedule for the
- summer. If you are interested in adding recreational summer classes please
- complete summer registration form so we can get an accurate count per class.
